Sebastian takes us through a few of his own money-saving ‘Snoops’
Here's a download of last month, which I hope you enjoy.
If you love going to the cinema like I do, it's worth considering a 'Picturehouse' membership.
For a £60 annual fee you get 2x free cinema tickets, access to the 'member only' rooftop bar (the one right by Piccadilly Circus is especially impressive), and drinks at a reduced price - 2 pints for £8.50 - a bargain these days! And if you're peckish afterwards, check out 'First Table' - an app that gives you up to 50% off food - just pay £5 to book the table. I tried it out the recently and it worked a treat.
Summer is slowly coming to an end, so I recommend you checking out the Heritage Open Days - a festival of history and culture across England where you can visit historical buildings, gardens and more for free. Runs until 19 September.
As a loyalty nerd, I recently downloaded 'Award Wallet', which allows you to store the log-in and password details for pretty much all the loyalty cards you hold (they cover >700 programmes from across the globe). It isn't just travel so check it out for yourselves to have an overview of all your membership details and balances in one single app.
Finally, I spotted a discounted Adidas gift card offer on Groupon - buy a £35 gift card and you'll get a £15 'promotional gift card' or buy a £50 gift card and you get an extra £25.
Both types of gift card can be used online or in-store if you purchase before 30 Sep (it expires in Aug 2025).
Should you need to return your shopping, Royal Mail has a collection service where you can book a slot and have parcels collected from your door.
This service usually costs 72p per parcel, or 60p for pre-paid returns. But, until the end of December, the collection service is free. You still need to pay postage, but you won't need to pay any extra to have the item collected. If you are returning an item with a pre-paid label, you can get it collected completely free.
Have a good month!
