Snoop’s number crunching helps keep spend in check

This month Snoop has helped me discover how I can save more money through my AA membership.

I saw a Snoop which let me know that as an AA member, I’m eligible for a 25% discount on an annual English Heritage membership.

One quick email later and our subscription has been updated, from paying monthly to paying annually, the money saved  will come in handy in the next few weeks I’m sure!

There’s something big that happens every year in December and it’s usually not cheap… enter Snoop to help me save on some bigger purchases I’d planned to make.

John Lewis were offering £20 off a £200 spend to My John Lewis members.

I know it’s a lot to spend upfront but as I was buying for more than one person - and was going to do some shopping there anyway - it was an offer too good to miss.

Even better, after I’d placed my order I was offered £10 off any chocolates I ordered as part of my John Lewis membership.

Spoiler alert – I bet you’ll never guess what my mum and husband are getting as gift now?!

I find the new number crunching of my spending weekly really helpful.

Every week, via my Snoop feed, I can see if my spending has increased, decreased or stayed the same.

When I saw my weekly treat was creeping up a little too high it’s helped me set limits on how much I want to spend.

The detail of how often I’m spending has also helped me too - it compares my transactions from the last three months - which helps me spot patterns of overspending before they become an issue!

See you next month 😊
